McClain's coffeehouse Bagels

McClain's is a quaint coffeehouse in Fullerton off of Harbor and Berkley that used to be a small house near downtown that turned into a popular cafe for fellow Fullertonians. If you have to do late night studying or you want to grab coffee with a friend, McClain's is the place to go.

But I am not going to be talking about their coffees tonight. Tonight, it's all about their bagels. Bagels are pretty simple: bagel, creme cheese, and/or jelly. You can pretty much put anything on top of them! But try this: Parmesan bagel, Philadelphia cream cheese spread on top, topped off with tomato, red onions, and cucumbers. OHH HOLY MOLEY. It was so good. Adding the veggies certainly put some twist to the bagel. You get crunch from the cucumbers and the onions. The tomatoes make it fresh. AHHH So much flavor on top of a bagel. YUM.

The bagel with cream cheese was $2.50, and adding anything else like veggies cost .50 cents more. In total the bagel was $5.00. Seems a little much, but the bagels are huge, and they smother on a good amount of cheese and veggies. TRY IT.
